Parent Info

Research shows that parents play a vital role in how their children perceive school, and how successful young people’s early-learning experiences might be. At Ora, we’ve established a
parent-friendly community that offers mums, dads and carers the support they need as they embark on the early-years education journey with the children in their lives.

Capturing the aura of hope

HEALTH & SAFETY

All our highly-trained educators are First-Aid certified. We also have two fully-qualified nurses on site at our facility, and we comply with a close educator-to- child ratio of 1:3 for children under 12 months, 1:4 for children aged 13–24 months, 1:6 for children aged 24–36 months, and 1:8 for children aged 36–48 months.

BONDING AND BREASTFEEDING

Ora’s open-door policy encourages parent-child connection during set times of the day. Our private and comfortable on-demand feeding pods have been designed to ensure breastfeeding mums and babies – and even bottle-feeding dads and their little ones – are happy and relaxed.

DIGITAL MONITORING

If you’d like to stay in touch with your child but aren’t able to drop by during the day, no worries. Simply log on to our custom-built, interactive Ora app to track your little one’s learning journey, and view photos and videos of his or her daily activities.

AMENITIES AND SERVICES

We’ve created a safe child pick-up service where one of our team members will personally collect your little one directly from you or your driver at the Emirates Tower valet parking. If you’d like to come into the nursery, feel free to enjoy some me-time (and a cup of coffee) at our Parents Café.

PARENT WORKSHOPS

Get involved in workshops and informative morning chats with our team while networking with other Ora parents. Schedule one-on-one consultation sessions with our educators to offer us feedback and gain valuable insights into your child’s developmental journey.

Ora’s research shows that parents are important authentic partners in their children’s early-years education journeys and that positive relationships are fundamental to learning. We encourage mums and dads to play an active role in our nursery through community connection, hands-on support and custom-built technology that allows them to monitor their little ones’ development.

THE ORA ADVANTAGE

Our Zayed Early-Learning Framework – guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai – embraces the philosophy of child-initiated learning. This motivates young people to choose their own activities, learning styles and paces and helps them naturally reveal their curiosity, creativity and self-confidence. At Ora, children mentor and teach peers alongside educators, facilitating a community-focused learning zone that fosters leadership, responsibility and empathy. Parents play supporting roles in their little ones’ early-years education through a combination of community engagement, hands-on support, and custom-built technology that allows mums and dads to actively engage with us on their little one’s development.
